1II-WHD Where Heros Dare! Two Fisted Action in the Pulp and Serial Movie World
Where Heroes Dare! is a complete package of pulp skirmish gaming with all of the action, drama, and big heroes and villains of pulp wargaming. The rules are a stand-alone system, yet can still be used with any of our other supplements and systems to play a pulp game anywhere from Victorian Sci-Fi, to the 1920s gangland, all the way through WWII and beyond.
Want to raid a speakeasy in Chicago's Southside with your lawmen? How about stalk the jungles of South America for the lost treasure of Whoomplsnutz? Maybe you want to raid a cultist temple while they try to summon something vile and nasty from the nth Dimension? SS Werewolves and Vampires fighting giant robots? No problem!
A blog post by Iron Ivan's talented designer Doctor Mercury gives a good introduction to the rules.
In essence:
Players will control forces of anywhere from three to 30 or more figures. There are Leads, companions, and supporters which make up your force. There are gadgets, gear, special abilities and schticks of all kinds, as well as mad science. There are rules for vehicles, including planes and robots. The game is plot-driven, and can be played in a campaign style inspired by the very serials and films that inspire the genre of pulp gaming!
The rules can be used for all of the popular scale miniatures. Basing is individual.
Table size can be anywhere from 2'x 2' up to 6'x 8' or more.

II-DHCSB WW2 Rules: Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers
Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers
Rules for WW2 Wargaming
Iron Ivan Games presents Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers: a complete WWII skirmish wargame system featuring both infantry and vehicles. The game is fast, easy to learn, and gives realistic tactical results without getting bogged down in record keeping or chart reading. The game is as intuitive as possible without being simplistic and will definitely reward good tactics. Fire and movement are important and easy to recreate. The main features include an initiative system, alternating unit activation, realistic weapon and cover usage, a dynamic morale system for infantry and vehicles, as well as a target acquisition system to make vehicles more realistic. Vehicles feature historically accurate armor values (with angles of deflection and thickness) and accurate gun penetration while still maintaining playability and balance. The two systems play well together in combined arms games.
Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers is versatile enough to play anywhere from platoon sized engagements up to full Battalion level games in 1:1 scale. A typical platoon sized game can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, while we have completed Battalion sized games in under 4 hours! Our system is perfect for running those convention games and keeps all players actively involved throughout the game. No more bored players waiting for their turn. No steep learning curve.
The basic maneuver element is a half squad or support unit and single vehicle. You can play infantry only, mix in vehicles, or even play all armor battles in 15mm, 20mm, and 25/28mm with ease. The game minimizes counters and is chartless for infantry. Spend more time playing and less time looking things up! The only dice needed are several ten sided dice. The main rulebook includes all the rules needed to play and covers infantry, vehicles, artillery, air support, paratrooper drops, mines, smoke, and weather. Also included are two army lists (German and American late war) with historically accurate Tables of Organization & Equipment and three easy to use generic skirmish scenarios to get players started right away. The army lists provided contain easy to use unit ID cards and include a built in points system for players who wish to use historically accurate forces while playing a balanced game. Everything you need to use a unit in the game is on the ID card.
Iron Ivan Games plan on releasing army books for each of the major combatants and several theatre and campaign books. Full support as well as much more information can be found at our website which will include contact information, free “extras”, painting guides, more scenarios, special rules, and army lists as we expand. Visit us at www.ironivangames.com and see how much fun WWII wargaming can be!

II-TVG This Very Ground (French and Indian War Skirmish)
Skirmish Wargaming in the French & Indian War
new printing - FYI nothing new but errata corrections.
1:1 Scale small unit skirmish for use with 15-28mm Miniatures
This Very Ground is a Small Unit Skirmish system designed to recreate the French & Indian War in North America. It is a fast playing and easy to learn system that easily handles the various aspects of 18th century warfare. Unit formations, terrain, Volume of Firing, and Melee is handled eloquently and allows for less record keeping and more gaming. The various fighting styles and the nature of warfare in this war are captured within the rules. A series of skirmish scenarios allow you to get started playing right away.
The book contains:
The rules: Movement, Terrain, Firing, Melee, Formations, and Morale.
A series of skirmish scenarios designed to tell the story of the Delaware war against the English as well as introduce scenario special rules such as attacking a frontier blockhouse.
Simple army lists that allow you to create virtually any kind of force that fought in the French & Indian War: Indian Warbands, Provincial infantry, Rangers and Coeur De Bois, as well as European Regulars (including Line, Light Infantry, and Grenadiers).
Players familiar with our WWII system, Disposable Heroes & Coffin for Seven Brothers, will be comfortale with the playbility of the system, but will also be challenged by the differences in tactical applications.
The book contains:
* The rules (of course!) which cover: Movement, Firing, Melee, Terrain, Morale, and Formations.
* A series of skirmish scenarios designed to recreate the Delaware Indian War against the English, as well as introduce the players to special rules such as attacking a Frontier Blockhouse.
* Simple army lists that cover: Indian Warbands, Militia, Provincial forces, European Regulars (including Line, Light Infantry, and Grenadiers), as well as Coeur De Bois and Rangers. These army lists can be used to recreate virtually any force from the period.
It is important to note that these rules are not a man-on-man system, but focused on small-unit actions. Players will be manuevering and fighting with units of 5-20 men.
The rules are easy-to-learn and simple-to-use. Units use various formations such as formed and skirmish, as well as different volumes of firing to capture the limitations and effectiveness of muzzle-loading black-powder weapons. Melee is fast and brutal. Terrain plays a major part in any engagement and can help or hinder the goals of the player. All of these elements come together to recreate the tactics and essence of warfare of the period in North America without using charts to produce combat results and without the need for tedious record keeping.

II-WW1POG Price Of Glory WWI/RCW/Interwar rules
Iron Ivan - Price Of Glory WWI rules
Small unit World War One combat. 52 page book, all rules you need including special rules for barbed wire, trenches, gas, tanks, and more. Players familiar with DH/C7B will recognize meany features, and enjoy the new material pertinent to WW1. Flexible infantry system allows players to build any force for any theater.
The level of these rules is small unit and it is 1:1 scale. Around a platoon per side for a typical game. You can do small units of trench raiders slugging it out (say 15-20 models a side) all the way up to whole platoons and companies fighting it out (say 30-100 or more).
But, the emphasis on these rules is on small unit actions. The basic unit used in the game are 5-10 man units. The unit fights and activate together, though the individual weapons and men are important.
Figure basing can be individual (most common) or team based (you will need some way of keeping track of individual casualties). Both will work, so if you already have a basing scheme from some other system, you shouldn't have any trouble using the same figs. You can also use 15 or 25/28mm figures.
The rules play much like the Iron Ivan WWII system: Disposable Heroes & Coffin for Seven Brothers. Players roll for initiative (which is modified by several factors), the winner chooses to go first or second, and then players take turns "activating" back and forth their units to complete a turn. The models have 3 characteristics: marksmanship, valor (melee) and Courage. The units can move and fire and engage in melee with various effects on each according to how far the unit moved what they are firing etc. Dice used are D10. Cover effects marksmanship and morale from the incoming fire. Morale is dynamic and effects whether a unit becomes suppressed, falls back, routs, etc. or not. There are no charts for firing or melee. Vehicles are detailed, yet easy to use. Each vehicle has a chart that has everything you need to use the vehicle and allows you to determine hit locations, armor values, speed, weapons, etc.by a few simple dice rolls.
The rules have everything you need to do infantry games, including rules for barbed wire, artillery, gas, weather, terrain etc. as well as vehicles. Included are all of the major artillery pieces of each of the major nations, plus a chart for class to allow you to use guns not included. There are a lot of vehicles including almost all of the armored vehicles you would find.
The book has an army generator for 4 different kinds of forces: European Regulars (allowing you to do front line units with experience, elites, or poorly trained reserves), Colonials (also allowing you to do militia, death squads, irregulars etc.), Trench Raiders (to do stormtroopers and bombing parties), as well as a cavalry list (allowing you to do anywhere from Lancers to Cossacks).
So in essence, it is a fast playing system with emphasis on tactical combat with small units. You can do any WWI type engagement (and interwar as well as RCW games) spanning the massive trench attacks, to irregulars and colonials in Africa, to the raiding parties going into no mans land to cut wire and attack outposts...all kinds of stuff can be gamed. It's not just trench warfare! (though that is of course a major part of it).
