4Ground Saxon/Medieval Dwelling Painted

In Norse communities this kind of larger ‘A’ framed building was typical of craft workshops and larger outhouses. In a Norse ‘Hafn’ (harbour/port trading town) this type of building would house the workshops of craftsmen who might themselves live in dwellings close by. Though for a lesser ‘Bondi’ (free born oath giver), this could just as likely be both family home and a place of work.

A highly detailed dwelling from the C9th and later. This is sure to bring any game of Saga to life. .

It is a good example of a Late Dark Age / Early Medieval dwelling. Though a few of these buildings would have been found in the 15th century. It has a smoke-hole gable at one end of the building, doors each side and a central firepit.

This laser cut model kit is supplied pre-painted with 4Ground base paints, even the thatch fabric for the roof is included, along with doors, firepit and wooden mullioned windows.
